Again, the Dead Sea at 8am, nothing special about today. Darcy put her foot in, cut and all and it stung a bit, but mostly OK. Her eczema was hurting a bit but mostly OK. A big long shower then 4 x 15 mins as per usual. Again, that first 15 minutes, full sun, eyes closed and arms above head, sun on knees too is a really good zap. I think her eyelids have almost fully re pigmented. I don't want to get too excited about this because hard to notice as I begin to see things, but crossing fingers that this is the case.
I also hope to see some brown dots appearing in her knees and armpits soon. For those that do not know, little brown "freckles" appear within the white patch. The brown freckles grow until they all meet up and no white spaces are left in between. Darc also had a large patch almost imitating a pair of underpants. This area mostly re pigmented with the light machine at home but there was some little white dottie bits remaining. These are disappearing as well.
So after the morning treatment we go straight to breakfast.
We then play around with paper aeroplanes in the foyer area - all the kids play - while the mums check emails, skype etc as there is good internet reception there.
Truly foul carrot and celery juice at 11am. Today Viepke and Darcy has a skulling (via a straw) competition and Viepke won. I thought Darcy might barf it up but it remained on the inside. We have made a little friendship bracelet for Viepke as a prize.
Then skyping with Oma and Harper, Matthew and Em before lunch. It was such a late night last night that we all had a lie down for almost 2 hours.
Back into the indoor Dead Sea at 4pm. 4 x 15 mins again, all good then kids club (430-530), I did a run and a swim, then quick shower and dinner.
It is Orthodox Easter at the moment so this joint is packed. So busy, burqa'a everywhere. We retreated to our room to watch WWE Smackdown, the kids thought this was hilarious, Tom & Jerry and Scoobie Doo. All pretty tired, in our pj's relaxing.
We miss Daddy, Emily and Harper so much today. I feel lucky that we are all looking after each other but we miss each other terribly. Today we wished we were home on our green couch ! Aint no place like home. xxxx
Hang in there Linds. Wont be long, you will be back in the hood and the trip will feel like a distant memory.
