Arabian Party.... feeling hot hot hot !

As I type - 11:13pm, I can here the arabic band singing "I want hot stuff baby this evening, I want some hot stuff baby tonight".  Hilarious.  So not the conservative muslim that this joint has in abundance.  Anyway, a good start, in the Dead Sea at 8am, carrying the fabulous Darcy as she has a cut on her foot.  Not hard to hold the dud foot above water.  Then 1 hour (4 positions x 15 minutes each) and then breakfast.
I tend to get a good 15 minutes of direct sun on her knee, arm pit and eyelids straight off.  After that, she is very wiggly and impatient.  The 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions are 2 x each side and then lying on her front.  All the kids are getting on so well and really enjoying each other.  Language no barrier as there are 3 german speakers and 5 Englishies.

After breakfast the girls all prepared a small dance routine to do at the party scheduled for this evening.  (BTW the band is now singing "that's the way, uh-uh uh-uh, I like it uh-uh"... still cracking me up)  I took the opportunity to skype Matthew and Emily and catch up on emails.  I have to at this point mention that my gorgeous firstborn not only got voted class captain today, but that she also was selected as one of 6 of 72 into the advanced program at school - like extension group.  Yay for her.  I knew that she had it in her.

Lunch, nap and then afternoon session at 4pm in the indoor pool.
All as per usual.  The Prof has advised that Darc exfoliate her knees so that the sun can get to the new layers of skin underneath.  This happened quite accidentally as the girls were practising their dance routine on the carpet.  A wee bit of carpet burn perfect to exfoliate as required.

Tonight we had the group photograph scheduled at 630pm followed by the Arabian Night at 730.  Slight change of plans as the wind whipped up at 635 so just some quick photos then dinner followed by the party which included camels, belly dancing, local man-dance group with bag pipes (a bit weird but thrilled the socks off our Scottish friends) and all the little shows that people put on including the girls little dance routine.  It was a fabulous night (which continues outside my balcony ("feeling hot, hot hot...").

A great day.  The kids are exhausted and have just now fallen asleep - 11:20pm.  I don't know how we'll go at 8am.  I have set the alarm.
Love to all.  xxxxxxx
